Esteban Azevedo - Founder Orthopedic Education Associates Orthopedic Education Associates is a company focused on patient education material. Esteban Azevedo and Amy Azevedo are physical therapists that specialize in chronic pain. They have worked alongside pain physicians for the past 7+ years in multidisciplinary pain centers. Working in this setting they often answer patient questions about different procedures recommended by their pain physicians. Patient Understanding leads to Improved Treatment Plan Compliance
Amy and Esteban designed the brochures with an explanation of the pathoanatomy of each body region so the patient understands why the injection can help them. This understanding leads to improved patient understanding and therefore compliance with the pain management treatment plan.

Brochures and Information Sheets are available
OEA has transferred the explanations of the pathoanatomy and various pain procedures into pre-printed brochures and information sheets (on CD) for pain centers around the world.

It is his goal to link pain physicians and specialized physical therapists for optimal patient care.
